‘Thank you for such an amazing event! I felt like I am on a boat on a dock, and you've pushed me back out. Thanks again :)’
As part of Talent Campus 8.0, the group decided to put on a one day mini festival for screenwriters, priced at just £5, called Make It Reel. The group assembled a killer array of speakers, focussing on diversity, pitching and the future of our industry.
It concluded with a pitching competition where all the money raised through ticket sales, was given to the winners (minus the cost of running the event, though they did manage to secure the venue free). The winner, Teri Terry, wrote a great post about pitching for success HERE.

So much was learned by the TC 8.0 team, and of course by the delegates attending too. It was a terrific experience, and the bar is now set very high for TC 9.0!
Below is some of the feedback from delegates…
‘The speakers were riveting offering useful takeaways and tips. And the lady I sat next to, lives very close to me so we’re going to meet up for coffee.’
