I just had the most wonderful experience that reinvigorated my beliefs and helped me find again my confidence!
I was fortunate enough to be selected for the Talent Campus 8.0, from the London Screenwriters Festival. Like everyone on arrival, I was nervous, but I was welcomed by friendly faces, who had the same question marks deep in their eyes.
What transpired was a week of intense days that left me buzzing every single night and eager for the next morning! Great sessions with AMAZING people that give you brilliant advice and insights, some of which were in the back of my mind, but I needed someone kind and wonderful to point it out.
As well as having great speakers and the best organisers, the whole course helped us prepare for the challenges ahead and to be aware of aspects beyond the writing. And all those things are inevitable! Networking! (Screech). The idea of mingling and talking to people and then putting yourself out there, and pitch your project! So what would be the best way for me to overcome my negative inner voice? Would you believe me if I told you that the Dr ordered…

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ROOM STAYS IN THE ROOM 😁 **
The whole experience is something like I’ve never experienced before and something from which I will draw strength for years to come.
And if that wasn’t enough, the friendships that I made and the bonds I developed in just a few days were astounding!!!
Talent Campus renewed my belief in myself, my writing and more importantly, in people! I will carry my Talent Campus peeps with me in a very special place in my heart and life.
